Problem restoring backup

I had to send my Sony laptop off for repair. I backed up
my pst file and deleted the contents in the Outlook
folders. When I try and restore the data it says I don't
have permissions. It is the same hard disk although
motherboard and screen were changed. A backup I took
today is fine. Any thoughts?

Did you backup to CD? Are you trying to import the pst file direct from the
CD? Copy it to your HDD and remove the "Read-Only" attribute and then try
the import.
