Problem Saving Word XP files to DVD/CD RW

D

David Ahrendt

When trying to save Word XP files to the DVD/CD RW drive
I get an error messing stating "The disk is full or too
many file are open". The disk is not full and there are
no other files open.
I have tried using freshly formatted DVD & CD disks with
the same result.
This does not occur with any other Office XP programs or
any other programs on my PC.
Using DLA to drag files in Explorer or My Computer works
fine.
Word will save files to the hard drive & the 3-1/2"
floppy drive without any problem.

You should never save Word documents directly to any type of removable
media. Save to the HD first, then copy to the CD/DVD.
