Are you using Windows XP, and right-clicking on the photo file, send to mail

Yes I am using XP home - I have tried you suggestion - no luck - I have tried various actions - The computer does give me the option to reduce the photo size if it is a BMP but not JPG - Is that correct - I was sure I was offered the option on JPG's

Hmmm - yes, I have XP (Pro) and it works with JPEG files just fine. Might
want to post in m.p.windowsxp.general as this is an OS function - also
mention your SP level and any event log errors you see, if any.

Found the answer at the newsgroup you suggested - Thanks - Here was the answer

I checked this website for an answer to the same question .... I came across an option of selecting Start, Run, and then typing in
REGSVR32 SHIMGVW.DLL (with a space between the 2 and S)
Just wanted to say that this worked. I wanted to thank the person who posted it but I can no longer find the reply.
Thank you very much.
