Problem shutting down Outlook

Using Outlook XP. When I try to shut down the program it gets stuck on "Wait
while Microsoft Outlook Shuts Down". This message box cannot be closed
unless I use Ctrl alt del and manually stop the program. All other items on
the desktop work when Outlook will not shut down. any suggestions?

Do you have a PDA docked when you are trying to shut down Outlook? If so,
try undocking the PDA first.

No PDA used.

Do you have a PDA docked when you are trying to shut down Outlook? If so,
