The error message did state that it was only looking for one parameter.
I'm not sure that I have used the workround exactly as stated (mostly
because I have upgraded to office 2007 and the workround instructions are for
Access 2000) but it did lead to a solution. I am now running the UNION query
through a make table query and the table is easily converted to a csv file.
