Problem Starting PowerPoint

J

Jeff Kerry

I am using PowerPoint 2003. It seems that eveytime I start the program a box
comes up labeled:

Microsoft Form
"Could not load an object because it is not avbailable on the machine"

I do not know how to fix this problem or just what it is.

Also note that I have not installed any 3rd party plugins to the program.
Was using it with out a problem last month and now I get this message.
Can someone advise how to stop this from continuing.

Tks,

Jeff

Couple of questions

Does the program load ok after the massage and you click OK?
Are you starting a blank powerpoint or trying to load an existing
presentation?

Sounds like you have a pres that contains vba controls you dont have.

So if your loading a presentation, once(if) its open alt+f11 and you should
see the vba project explorer (view > project explorer if not) If theres a +
sign expand it. If you can see anything modules / slides etc they need to be
deleted.
