problem to display pictures - FrontPage 2003

I uploading my page and the relevant pictures, but the when I check
the webpage, the pictures are not there, instead shows only the (x)
sign. I also have noticed that the pictures on host server shows 0kb.
Can anyone kindly explain what is wrong?
