Problem using office XP when the target folder is encrypted

Hi,
I am trying to install MS Office XP on a XP system. I
have encrypted the target folder where I am trying to
install the application.
The installation completes smoothly but, when I try to
use the application, I get "Access denied" error.

I cannot even repair or uninstall the application.
Also, the icon files are not displayed properly.
I am not really sure what the problem is, any help in
this regard is appreciated.
