Problem using photo gallery

Steve

When using the FP2002 application 'new photo gallery' I
find that the user selected downloaded 'size' of a
thumbnail (presented in the web page main frame) is very
much larger than the 'main' frame size itself meaning the
user has to scroll around the picture to be able to view
it.
Any help with this would be greatly appreciated

I had the same problem but www.irfanview.com overcame it.
Download IrfanView, run it, choose File/Batch Conversion-Rename/Find your
picture file and Add/Browse to a file where the downsized pic will be saved
to.
Advanced Options/ I set width to 1000 preserving aspect ratio/Start.
Now use this pic in your Gallery and it downloads a lot quicker.
I don't think that some Browsers auto resize to the screen so play about
with the width setting.
Let us know if OK.

Griff.
