Problem with £ sign

FP 2000

When I insert a £ (pound) sign all looks OK until I upload to my web space
when all £ signs turn into ?'s. Can anyone advise how to over come this
problem?

Arial - tried pasting from symbols and that doesn't work either in case you
are thinking of that.

No - just the £ sign on the number 3 key UK keyboard). Does using the ALT
option make a difference then? Perhaps I should have mentioned that the
site in question is hosted in the USA.

It could. My Shift+3 key will yield a pound sign but not *your* pound sign.
Mine is #. Try the ALT option - see if it works.

What's the URL?

Managed to find a solution. I have to type in &pound in html where I want
the £ sign inserted. Seems to work OK then.
