Problem with 16-bit custom forms in Windows 2000.

Hi experts,

My customer is experiencing problem with custom forms.

The majority of customer’s clients are using Windows 2000 and Outlook 2000
SP3.

On several machines, when the form is used we got error message like “Not
enough memory for running 16-bit application†.

And, after some time, we are getting the second message “The custom form
could not be opened, use outlook form insteadâ€.

Customer tried to recreate user’s profile, reinstall Outlook – not helped.

Also, customer stated, that there were several machines, where he got the
same problem with exception – only second error message appears (The custom
form could not be opened, use outlook form insteadâ€. And, he solved this type
of problem by simply recreating user’s profile…

Thank you in advance for any ideas…
Best regards.

Custom forms (in a biz environment)are usually kept in their own space and
shared. If you check in Tools>options, go to the 'Other' tab, there should
be a section for custom forms. Here you should be able to see what custom
forms are available to the customer and if the form is stored on the network,
you should be able to add the form in the customer's accessible forms. I
dont know how your customer is setup, but that's the way ours work. Cheers.
