problem with a couple of resources

I have a PM who is trying to add a couple of users to a project. When he
tries to assign the resources, he is unable to see them. I have checked and
the resources are active, and I can see them in the enterprise resource pool.
If they can be seen in the resource pool, why would they not be seen when
trying to add them to a project? Thanks in advance

The problem is most likely in the configuration of the Category to which this
PM belongs.

If you go into PWA, Admin, Manage Security, Categories, you'll see the
category to which this user is assigned (also view under PWA, Admin, Users,
Modify). The Category has an area aptly called "Resources: Select the
resources whose information can/cannot be viewed by users in this category".
You can either select the specific resources in this category, or if you
don't need to limit the resources into groups/categories, you can select the
radio button "All current and future resources in the Project Server
database".
