Problem with a page.... no content showing!

E

E. T. Culling

In the browser (IE) I am only able to see a background color for this page:
http://www.silverbayinn.com
I can look at the source code OK.

One person got a run-time error that I think was caused by the tracker. I
have removed the tracker ... but the problem didn't go away.
Any suggestions, please. This site has dropped off the face of the earth.
All other pages on the site are fine.

When removing the tracker I think you left something behind. If you look in
the first table cell you'll see the following code snippet
<script><!--
</script>
You need to remove this. The <!-- tells the browser that this is the
beginning of a comment and not to render the rest of the HTML until it finds
an ending comment. Since there is no ending comment tag, the entire page
from then on is seen as a comment and therefore not rendered.

Hope this helps,

ET,

I know this is a dumb question, but it's one that's going to asked
many times I bet.
On the Rates and Amenities page, are the rates listed the rate:
per minimum stay or per day??

See what I'm saying??

Why?

But I work against a local Windows 2003 standard server. I also have a
machine with Windows XP Pro with IIS which I use just for running FP2002 and
FP2003 for helping users here in the newsgroup, when it is available.

I still use FP2000 for all development work, as I don't need any of the
additional features provided by latest 2 versions.

Hmmmm . I'll ask the client. I doubt that it has been a problem, but I do
see what you mean!

I found the problem in the table with the extra bit of code and fixed that
and did later add the tracker back in. Now even I can see the home page!
Some could, some couldn't! So the big question now is why did the tracker
stop showing hits after Jan 14th. After a huge flood in the area where this
property is located they need all the help they can get!!
Thanks for everyone's help. It sure doesn't hurt to tell the client that
you've received an answer to try within 15 minutes!

Not really, but with that much computer power
you could probably hyperlink a small one right
into a target frame.
