using: MS Word 2000
i am attempting to create a hyperlink from one document,
to a specific point in another document using a bookmark.
i create a bookmark in one document. i then open another
document and insert a hyperlink and choose the document
with the associated bookmark i have just created, and
select the bookmark within thin the link. it results with
something like: D:\Links\Doc1.doc#TESTBOOK
when i click on the link, it takes me to the top of
Doc1.doc, NOT to the bookmark TESTBOOK which has been set.
the bookmark has definitely been created correctly as when
i create a link WITHIN doc1.doc using the bookmark
TESTBOOK it works... it just doesn't work when i try to
create the same link outside the document.
any help would be appreciated.
