Problem with Column widths resizing on other computers

I'm working on an excel mortgage calculator and thought everything wa
going great.

I then tried to send it to other people, and on some people's th
column width resizes, so that words and lines are cut-off.

I created the workbook in excel 2000, and this problem has occured wit
users using excel 98, 2000, and XP. But the problem only occurs i
about 1/4 of the people that use the calculator. Most people it show
up fine, just like I expected it.

I have two workers with the same system specifications, using excel 98
and on one it works exactly as intended, and on the other, the column
reformat themselves.

Any idea why this is occuring, or how to stop it? Thanks!!

Hi!

I couldn't say what causes it.

But a possible workround could be to incorporate a VBA routine
which sets the column widths to what you want.
