Hi Chris,
In Windows Explorer change the file options to show file extensions then use Start=>Search to look for *.dbf files.
It's possible that what you're seeing are shortcuts to the DBF files, which would be about right for the 1K size.
There's nothing in Office 2007 that I can think of offhand that would wipe out DBF files, but it could have changed the file
association for DBF files to an Office program and you may need to change it back to use Goldmine or other software.
Goldmine works with Word through an add-in and that add-in may not have been loaded into Word or may be blocked by antivirus
software among other possibilities.
==========
I use the contact management software Goldmine which uses .dbf files. After
installing the Technical Refresh, all of my .dbf files won't work and are now
1KB in size. I tried to copy the same files from another computer, but once
they copy they are reduced to 1KB in size. >>
