Problem with deleted shape shows up on printing of page

VACABOB

When I look at PRINT PREVIEW, the previously deleted shape (a cloud) does NOT
SHOW!! This same shape does not show on the page after I save it. When I
print the page, the previously deleted shape prints! Very frustrating!
HELP! How can I delete a shape that doesn't show on the screen anywhere?

I doubt that that article will help if Print Preview does not show the shape
and it is still printing. This gets into that weird area of shapes that
appear out of nowhere. Sometimes they can be spotted in Reading Layout view.

Neither will it help if the shape is attached to a field that's set to display the shape at print time. For example:
{IF{PRINTDATE \@ "YYYYMMDDhhmm"}= {DATE \@ "YYYYMMDDhhmm"} "Picture inserted/anchored here"}

Good point. I also looked at one document that contained a chart of some
kind that had been formatted very tiny in a table cell, but it had been
inserted as a field; when updated at print time, it popped up like a
jack-in-the-box, expanding to cover a good bit of the page.
