Problem with display of header in Word 2003

I have recently upgraded WinXP to SP2 and i do not know
if its coincidence but ever since when i display a Word
document with a logo inserted into the header it does not
display in Print Layout.
In print preview it displays correctly.
Does anyone know how i can get my headers back?

Unfortunately not the solution. I have been carrying out more checks.
Anything placed in the header, logo, lines, boxes disappear when you scroll
up or down -- EXCEPT text. text remains after scrolling. If you change to 2
page view the logo reappears initially but after scrolling, disappears again.
If you then change back to page width view the header is clearly visible
until you scroll then the header disappears. (The header disappears after
that part of the page scrolls out of view)

More info to last email.
If I minimise the Word window and restore, the headers are visible again. If
you partly scroll the page so that half the header has moved out of view then
when you scroll back half the header is missing

This is a display problem then. You need to either (a) update your video
driver or (b) turn down the hardware acceleration. And even that may not
help.

I have turned down hardware acceleration and that has cured the problem --
many thanks

sHaving solved the problem -- my original graphics card was a Radeon 9600 Pro
-- i replaced the card with an NVIDIA GeForce FX5700LE and i now have exactly
the same problem. So it would appear that it is not the graphics drivers
which are the cause of the problem.

I have had to turn down hardware acceleration to disable all DirectDraw and
Direct 3D acceleration.

I have a solution but the problem seems to be elsewhere -- where do we go
now to locate the actual problem itself.
