Hey.
I have a problem with the display of page numbers, which a search in the
threads of the forum has not been able to resolve.
I have created a template with multiple Slide Masters in ppt 2007. For all
Masters, I have right-clicked the thumbnail and clicked 'Master Layout', and
then ticked the boxes 'Title', 'Text' and 'Slide number'. I have then applied
formatting to these placeholders.
In the different layouts I have created underneath my Slide Masters, the
slide number place holders appears just as on the Slide Master itself. But
when I then go to 'Normal' view and create a new slide based on any of the
available layouts, the number does not appear. Everything else is working
fine.
What am I missing?

PS. There are no objects obscuring the page number, and it is not formatted
in the same color as the background.
