We have some intermittent problem with Distributionlists that is created in
Exchange 2003.
Server environment:
Centralized Exchange 2003 environment. 3 hubsites, all included one
mailserver, one â€routing†server and one front end server. All mailrouting
goes through dedicated Exchange 2003 Servers.
Client info:
Windows XP PRO SP2.
Office 2003 PRO SP2, Outlook 2003 SP2 all run in Cached Mode.
Symantec Antivirus 9.02
Problemdescription:
Sending a mail to members in a DL in some cases it can happend that only
those are in GAL in the Field TO: and CC: reach the recipiant.
One scenario from last week:
Sending a mail from 2 different machines and 2 different user profiles that
includes both DL list and members from GAL didn't work for approxemately 5-10
min. All mails to the members in the GAL got the mails but members in DL
didn´t get mails. No errors message at all.
We cannot force the error because it's intermittent.
Tested proceeding action:
Mail profile recreated.
Clean of Name Cache.
No success.
