Problem with DXF files exported from Visio 2002

I am using Visio Professional 2002 SP-2 (10.0.6871). When I export DXF files
from Visio and then attempt to open them AutoCad I get the following
message...
Invalid or incomplete DXF input -- drawing discarded.
I also get this message when attempting to open the DXF file with Visio. Any
ideas?

Never did get .DXF files from Vision to open properly in AutoCad or even back
inot Vision. Now exporting .IGS format from Visio and have no problems
opening them in AutoCad.

IGS format export is no longer supported in more recent versions of
Visio.
