Problem with dynamic template

When I update my template now, I no longer have the option to update all or
attached pages, I have to manually open each page and update it.

Been messing with this all morning, along with a sharepoint services error
when trying to publish or save. For S & G I just recalculated the web and 2
subwebs, that fixed both problems.
