Problem with formating Cells in OWC Spreadsheet

I have problem with formaing the spreadsheet web componant,
I am loading a xml data to Spreadsheet those are string only, I want to
change some column as for date format.
I have problem with no. also if start with zero Spreadsheet omits that zero
(0).
If i m using clearformats method its also clears the Date format and gives
some no for that date.

Pls solve my problems

Have a look at the numberformat property. You can use the numberformat
property to insert a mask over the cells in order to display what you want.

But my problem is different. I have an xml data. that is loaded on to
Spreadsheet.. Spreadsheet automatically changing the data to different
format
for example,
05/2004 (String type) is converted in to May/2004
I need the all date should be displayed in same format dd/mm/yyyy
I tried with FormatDateTime function but it is not working...
See example
25/11/04 this is my formated data in xml i want to convert this in to
25/11/2004 but in Speadsheet it displays like
this " 11/4/2025 " I m not appling any format it is automatic.

U suggest me to do with number format but what about dates....
When i applied general format or clearFormat it convert date to some no. It
also happen when i apply some no format

7/2/2024 ----> 45475

Is there any format as string for cells. I need spreadsheet should display
all data as it is.

yes numberformat = ("Date MM/dd/yyyy") is basically what you need
