Problem with Formula and Formatting (General;*. @)

I have a simple Link on one worksheet, I formatted that cell with the
following:

General;*. @

In order to put a leader to the left of my text. The problem is that
it is not displaying what is in the cell, instead it is displaying the
link properties.

What I want:
.... .80

What I am getting:
.... =ENTER!F8

Any help would be appreciated.
