Problem with hyperlinks to external documents and URL's

I have a Powerpoint presentation which is saved in web page format and viewed
using Internet Explorer. There are hyperlinks within the presentation which
link to external Word documents and also to pages on an intranet site. The
problem occurs when, after linking to an external site, trying to navigate
back to the slide/page in the Powerpoint presentation using the 'Back'
button. When moving back to the Powerpoint presentation, instead of going to
the slide from where the link was made, it goes to the first slide in the
presentation.
This did not happen before upgrading to Office 2003.

Hi,

See if this makes a difference. Click on Save as Web Page, Publish, Web
Options, Browsers, and see if the box for Save new pages as Single Web Pages
is checked. If so, uncheck it.

I tried again ensuring that 'single web page' option was not set but the
problem remains.

Maybe you can find what's causing it in the script editor. Click on View,
Toolbars and make sure the Visual Basic toolbar is showing. Click on the
Script Editor from the VB toolbar.
