problem with keeping formats..

I am trying to make a letter where i want the colours from the numbers in my
excel sheet to come with me when i connect it to a letter in word.

Any way to do this?

noticed while reading some older posts that there is no way of keeping the
format....
I am not much of a programmer so i guess i am screwed...
guess ill do it some way else
