Problem with microsoft office 2003

Hello

I have a problem with my Microsoft Office 2003 Student and Teacher Edition.
I can not do anything in Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
Everything seem to be grey out. I have installed/reinstalled two or three
time and i stilled have the same problem.
I am using a full retail product.

As far i know there were no activation wizard. When i installed i have enter
the product key and read an agreement and that was it.

Open Word. Go to Help - activate product.

I have done that and nothing is working no dialog box come up.
