I Have windowme on my computer and office 2000, sometime
when i downloaded SR-1 update to Word it created one
really bad problem in that I can't delete word and
reinstall.
When i open Word then when i close it this is what pops up:
Winword has caused an error in USER32.dll
winword will now close
If you continue to experience problems
try restarting your computer.
Needless to say that doesn't work
When i go into Control Panel and scroll to Microsoft Word
2000 SR-1 and try to delete it this is what comes up:
This patch package could not be opened. Verify that the
patch package exists and that you can access it, or
contact the application vendor to verify that this is a
valid Windows installer patch package
The above statement is what i get when i try to reinstall
word from the CD or when i try to update Word from
Microsoft web site.
Can someone please help me solve the problem
