Problem with MS word 2002

please could somebody help me with this problem?
Every time i try to open ms word i get a message saying please enter product
key no and everytime i enter it a message comes up saying:- Invalid producet
key no wat have i done wrong??
I have found a product key no on the side of the hard drive tower and wen i
enter it i get the message above.

The "product key no on the side of the hard drive tower" is for the
Operating system. Get the one for Office and use that instead. Should be
with the Office CD.
