I'm using Word 97 and just got a new keyboard. For some reason, it's
not responding to some of the normal keyboard shortcuts that I assume
come standard with Word and worked with my old keyboard. Such as
hitting ctrl+shift+arrow keys select various lengths of text. Anyway,
I thought I'd try to just duplicate this myself by programming the
shortcut keys. However, when I go in and try to use the "shift" key,
it doesn't show up, like it doesn't recognize it or that I'm even
hitting the shift key. I've tried everything that I can possibly think
of, and I'm not getting anywhere. If anybody has had this same problem
and come up with a solution, I'd appreciate any pointers. Thanks.
