I have office 2007 professional. I use word for publishing books and have a
complicated set of styles. My problem with word 2007 is that sometimes I want
to change one instance of a style. For example, I have a style for
quotations, which is "quote1" and the paragraph spacing is normally 6 points.
But I may want to change the paragraph spacing for one of the paragraphs of
"quote1" to 12 points instead of 6. But when I change the spacing for one
paragraph, the normal template changes every paragraph of "quote1" to 12
points. I have noticed that I do not have any problem when I change the font
features. it is only the paragraph features that cause a problem. I did not
have this problem with Word 2003. I appreciate any help I can get. I am
thinking to revert back to Office 2003.
