problem with office and outlook

We installed 2007 office home and student on a vista system computer with
outlook evertime I try to open a new email it wants to configure office and
reboot which does nothing. When it restarts it goes through the same process
again. I also have word 2002 installed on this computer.

Just a guess but it might be because you set Word to be the e-mail
editor. And also if you keep opening different Office versions of the
application the system will "reconfigure" for that version.
