problem with Office XP

G

GCR Comp

desktop with Windows XP SP1 with Office XP. Each time I open an office
application it keeps on trying to install. Eventually the app opens but it
will happen again when I open the app again.

If I give the person admin rights to the workstation it does not happen.
Remove her from the admin list it will happen again. User cannot have admin
rights to the workstation and I have many other workstations where users do
not have admin rights and they work fine.

any help?

Thanks

I got same problem - trying to run office xp on win2k pro as a regular
user - I get error1722 - found MS article from 2004 that says it knows of
problem but I cannot find any fix for it... would be nice if someone came up
with an answer to this one.
