O
Outlook User
I wrote a rule to copy items in my Outlook 2003 sent items folder to a
folder of my choice on an IMAP server. Unfortunately, when it does
this, the message that is copied over does not appear to be properly
formatted, and causes problems with other mail readers. No address is
present in the "from" field, even though that information is present
in the copy of the same message in the Sent Items folder that Outlook
2003 uses locally. For example, a properly formatted mail message
looks like:
Date: Sat, 24 Apr 2004 07:16:20 -0700 (PDT)
From: My name <[email protected]>
X-X-Sender: (e-mail address removed)
To: Recipient's name <[email protected]>
Subject: blah blah blah
....
But when the outlook rule copies the message over, I get:
From: "My name" <---NO ADDRESS IS
PRESENT HERE
Sender: "My name" <[email protected]>
To: <[email protected]>
Subject: IMAP rule test
Any idea what is causing this problem, and how I can solve it?
Thanks,
Michael
