Backed up (or so I thought) my .pst files using the
personal folders backup utility for Outlook 2002. When I
backed up the files, I ended up with a small (38 kb)
backup file and a larger (67 MB) file labeled "Outlook
backup" but with no file extension--it's simply listed as
a data file, not a .pst file. I tried restoring from
that file and opening it directly in Outlook to no
avail. Even tried the inbox repair tool with no luck.
Anyone encountered this before? Any way to recover this
file? It contains a lot of important emails. Thanks!
