Problem with Publish and Republish

This problem occurs with new MSP 2003 files. User has to "Republish" to
force updated task info to be correct in Web Access. Just using
"Publish" does not always seem to work.

Please kindly advise. Thanks.

If the project manager manually enters progress in the actual Microsoft
Project plan, he/she must always do the following to "push" the actuals to
each team member's timesheet in PWA:

1. Click Collaborate - Publish - Republish Assignments
2. Select the "Overwrite actual work entered by resources" option
3. Click OK

If the project manager updates progress into the Microsoft Project plan from
the Updates page in PWA, then he/she simply needs to click Collaborate -
Publish - All Information to make sure the project is "synched up" in both
Microsoft Project and PWA. Hope this helps.

Thanks - This has been troublesome with some of our project managers that
have been updating projects "the old way" before we had the enterprise
edition. (IE we where using client only ) I see your name on a great deal
of posts ... and just wanted to thank you as this post has saved me a great
deal of time. My PM's now can continue in their comfort zone of updating
via MS project pro and the resource will see the updates in PWA...
