Problem with registry

I have a recurring problem with my registry, where, for some reason,
something gets corrupted and as a consequence, the "Look in" drop down of my
"Open" dialog boxes freezes up for about 45 seconds. I know it's a registry
error, because I was able to fix it once using RegHealer. Unfortunately, I
did not make a note of which HKEY it was. Does anyone out there know
anything about this? I am running Office 10 on a 2.8GHz XP machine with 1GB
RAM.

Nevermind - saw a post from "Mike" that detailed exactly this same problem.
Turns out, I had a few drives mapped, but the machines were not turned on.
Once I disconnected them, everything worked flawlessly. Thanks Mike.
