Problem with search settings in Outlook 2000

Can anybody help me to resolve a seemingly simply OUTLOOK
2000 problem (Build SP-3, 9.0.0.6627)? It concerns
the "search" function: where can I set the fields I want
to search in?

My problem is that in my "Sent Objects" folder, it
searches in "To", "CC" and "Subject", which is fine;
however in the "Sent Objects" folder in my outlook archive
it searches in "From" and "Subject". Searching in "From"
in a "Sent Objects" folder doesn't make much sense (I sent
those mails!). I want to search in "To", "CC"
and "Subject" instead, just as in my current folder.

I cannot find a way of changing the settings anywhere,
however! I have looked at and tried everything I could
find ...

Any idea how to solve this problem?

Best regards, Detlef Hardorp

I tried finding the Lookout programme, but to no avail!
It no longer seems to be downloadable. Any other ideas?

Thanks! I just found it at

http://www.lookoutsoft.com/Lookout/download.html

as well. With the size of my outlook files, it looks like
this programme will be indexing the whole night!

So is the answer to my original question that - without
third party software - I cannot do anything about setting
the categories that Outlook 2000 searches in?

You can use the Advanced Feature in Outlook to search particular fields.
