Problem with text field in cell of form made with Word

We have a form here at work designed in Word/Office 2003 and when one of the
cell boxes for plain text is filled in, it is acting differently on different
computers. Sometimes the text box fills properly for the first line and then
locks up at max number of characters for the first line, you can backspace
OK, but you can only enter to a certain number of characters.

Sometimes it works fine on certain computers by hitting return and jumping
to next line. Here is the catch, we have adjusted the limit of characters to
uinlimited and it makes no difference.

When we unprotect it to correct it just allows us to keep typing expands
off the page to the right and will not auto return at edge of cell. Plus, it
expands at bottom off the page and will not jump to next page. What trick or
procedure are we overlooking to resolve the issue. We have wrap text buttons
click, and all teh usual suspects clicked, etc.

One FYI, the problem occurs on some computers but not all, it is strange.
Could it be a driver that is skewing the page formating? Or should we look at
the document itself.

We just want a simple text box to enter narrative into for about a fifteen
line text box width of a normal page with the cell, and have it jump to a new
cell in teh next page, if filled to the bottom

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated....we are perplexed and probably
just overlooking something simple.

Feeling stupid in the Cube!

Did you also selct the cell of the table and select autofit Fixed column
width? this should stop it expanding off the edge.
