Problem with the format of a linked table

Hi, I'm a new acces user and I'm having problems traying to accomplish
something:
I have a linked table (writen in excel) and I want to change the numbers
format (appears as 123,45.67 and I want to appears as 12,345.67 or 12345.67),
the problem is that when I change the format in the table an I tried to save
my changes this isn't made because is a linked table.
How to accomplish what I want to do???

Are the numbers showing up in Excel the way you describe or is it just in
Access? Have you tried changing the format in the underlying Excel
worksheet?

Thanks David, I have already solved this problem, but, could you check the
"problems with the criteria fild" that is 3 lines up from this query
