Problem with typing text in ecel frames

Operating System: Mac OS X 10.4 (Tiger)
Processor: Intel

As I am typing in a frame in excel, it takes forever to appear and I can't go to next box until type in first box appears. Takes forever.

Have you applied the most recent updates (12.1.2)? It's impossible to tell
from the limited version info requested in the message.

If not, get current with the updates & repair disk permissions. That may
help a bit - although I've been having a similar effect on my Tiger system
also - I believe Rosetta may a factor (although that system is a PPC, not an
Intel).

I have the same problem with 12.1.2 installed and there are no PPC apps running on the MacBook. Clean installed, new users, no luck. This is a huge issue
