Problem with UK date format and PWA 2007 in PWA Task Updates view

Hello,
When I attempt to expand my selection from a week to a month in the Task
Updates view in PWA 2007, I see that my day-month-year is flipping to
month-day-year on input.
Steps to duplicate in the PWA View Task Updates:

In this view I have selected Monday 3 september from the date grid icon next
to the "date range:" field. Instead of 3 september the date flips to March
9th (I see this reflected in the date grid in the lower pane). When I select
20/9 or 9/20 I get no error messages, but in both cases I see that the grid
defaults to September 20th (this is true for all valid dates of the form a/b
where a or b is greater than 12).

Here are my regional settings, but I suspect that this is not related to the
regional settings!
1. In MSP as planner, my date format is set in MSP options View tab as
day-month-year
2. In PWA, as user, in personal regional settings “My Settings>My regional
settings†I have set my locale as UK.
3. On PWA client (as admin), I see the server settings ‘Additional server
settings’ I see the text (non-editable) Current Server Date/Time: 15/10/2007
14:58
4. PWA (as admin)->Site Actions>Site settings>regional settings; locale = UK

Any and all tips would be welcome, since we are interested in running
monthly checks on task updates.
regards,
Jane

This is a bug not visible to our American colleagues - only suggestion
I have is always to pick a day > 12, so instead of 3 Sept start with
31 aug. None of the current hotfixes sort this problem.

Mike,
Thanks for your prompt response on this! The workaround is to always choose
the last day of the previous month, and this may include an extra day.

I guess our old 2003 'hard line' of saying to all of our PM's to please
accept everything and run any necessary checks in MSP still stands. As it is
in 2007, I noticed that the old 2003 resource views available to the PM's
before accepting hours (showing the 'blue' pending updates) are gone and only
the task oriented views are available through the task updates preview
'Approval Preview' page.

I am having a lot of trouble 'selling' this new view on pending updates.
Everyone seemed to love those old red, blue and black numbers...

Jane

There are a number of 2003 features not present in 2007. MS were
clearly under pressure to get this release out.
