Problem with uninstalling Office 2003 Small Business Trial Version

Hi, I have a trial version of Office 2003 Small Business Edition and it has
expired. I wanted to uninstall it but when I tried to do so in the
Add/Remove Programs, a window popped up stating "The installation source for
this product is not available. Verify that the source exists and that you
can access it.". When I click "OK", nothing happenned and Office is still on
my computer. Could someone please help on this problem? Thanks

did you perform a save during those hours of work?
I am in the habit of hitting 'ctrl + s' (= save) every few minutes just in
case of such a crash, whatever the application.
If you're uncertain about saving your work frequently because you think
there's a slim chance you might want to go back, then do 'save as..' and
append the filename with a date or time or an a or b or c or something that
you can later remove to restore the proper filename when you've finshed the
job. Another benefit of this practice is that if a file gets damaged and
cant be opened or if you accidentally delete a whole lot of stuff from it,
then you have a previous version to go back to or to cut and paste from.
I am sorry I dont know the details of excel to answer whether you can
retrieve your work- this is just general advice to avoid what happened
