Problems accessing new PWA installation

I have managed to install sharepoint 2007 SP1 and Project Server 2007 SP1
together on my server. I have run the config wizard and up to that point
everything seemed to go well. However, I have a few problems with access to
the Project Web Access site.

However, I have provisioned the pwa on my sharepoint web application but
when I access the site through the url http://sharepoint/project , I simply
get "an unexpected error occurred" which when I take off custom error pages,
is really a http 404 error whilst trying to get to default.aspx.

There are no errors in the event log and the databases appear to have been
created correctly.

I have noticed however that if I access the above url with a user that is
not authorised, I get a nice page asking me to login with another name. Does
this mean that PWA is there and just setup wrong?

Any ideas on what I should look for ti resolve this?

Thanks.

H richard,

IS the status of the PWA site in manage pwa sites 'provisioned' or does it
say 'failed'. If it failed, it is just not there. If it is provisioned, I
would try a IISRESET to be sure everything is loaded again.

hope this helps.

Hey there Sander,

I have just done that again and I have also just tried restarting the server
to make doulby sure but no luck. The status of the site is currently
"provisioned".

Rich
