Recently I've been having problems with the SHFILEOPSTRUCT function with
Access 2007 on a Windows XP PC. Access believes that the database is
corrupted & goes through the whole send error, save a copy, & restart
routine. It appeared that the database was corrupted, but rebuilding it
didn't help.
However, running the same .accdb file on a Vista PC and access 2007 does not
show a problem, so file corruption was probably not really the problem.
I re-installed Access 2007 on the XP PC the problem continued.
However when I found & removed Windows update KB951978 the problem appears
to be fixed - at least so far.
