Problems Auto Sizing in Excel

I have always been able to double click in Excel to auto size the height of a
row, but I am at a new company and it is not working on my Excel here. I
have tried HELP and reviewed and tried every thing I can think of. Can you
help?

Perhaps you have some merged cells in that row.

They will not auto-size without using VBA code.
