Problems downloading office online templates

I'm running windows me computer and everytime I download office online
templates the cabs download as word but when I try opening the templates they
show up in a binary code. How do I get them to open in the form that I
download them.

You must have ActiveX to download the Office templates. Windows Me does not
support ActiveX.
