PROBLEMS ENTERING TEXT IN EXCEL

When I enter the letters "HGE" in a blank cell the "G" dissappears. Does this
happen to anyone else? And is there a fix?

It's an autocorrect option. Go to Tools - Autocorrect Options and remove the
correection from the list.
