Problems Inserting form Scanner

There are 5 user profiles (logins)for my home PC (Win XP)
but only mine (administrator)is able to insert a picture
into WORD from the scanner. When another user tries
(using their log-in) the insert process fails reporting
that it cannot locate a .dat file.

Any thoughts, anyone?
