I have an access 2000 db running under access 2003. One one of the tables i
have an ole field. The development version is on a win xp home stand alone
laptop, and on theis i have no trouble inserting links to windows bitmap
pictures. The production version is networked across a smalll office network,
and when I try to "right click/insert object/create from file/
browse/select/click link", I get a meesage saying there is a problem with the
ole server, and to start the old server outside of access, then retry the
insertion.???
Tonight, just to annoy me, the networked system let me link two picture
without problem, then thre it's hand in when I tried to link the third,
despite the fact that all three pics were in the same format and in the same
directory!
Anyone know anything - please and thanks!!
